The Cambridge Biosecurity Hub is running a 7-week introductory biosecurity fellowship this autumn. It's open to anyone based in or near Cambridge who wants to learn more about preventing future pandemics.

We'll meet on Thursdays at 5:30–7:30 pm in central Cambridge, from 15th October to 26th November.

Sessions will be a mix of:

• Discussions on pandemic risk, prevention, early detection, and response

• Talks from experts in the field

• A social to connect with the community here in Cambridge working on preventing catastrophic pandemics

We'll cover topics like wastewater monitoring, how to make buildings more resistant to disease spread, and how quickly advancing AI and biotechnology are changing the risks.

No prior knowledge required! There'll be lots of discussion, and we love having a variety of perspectives from different backgrounds and levels of experience.
